| Might be some disease. Keep it separate from other fish for now and would like to hear from some expert on the medication. |

| Goldfish do generally better in cooler water so it's probably unwell because of your water temperature. Pour some ice cubes in your tank as a temporary measure and feed sparingly till it gets better. and generally dont overfeed as goldfish are messy eaters and overfeeding will affect the water quality. |

| How many fishes do you've in that tank? What size is the goldfish and the pleco? Pleco have a notorious habit of sucking sucking slime off the bodies of slow moving fishes like goldfish. This could be one reason. Do not drop ice in the tank owing to fact that your tank is small and the ice will bring down the temperature of your tank too soon for the fishes to adjust. Similarly the temperature would rise back very quickly back to room temperature once the ice would have completely melted. The situation at hand could also be due to ammonia burns caused by irregularly high levels of ammonia in a set-up which is also true inn your case because of the fishes you've kept in tank and the size of the tank. Please provide us more details of your tank and a image of the affected fish for us to diagnose better. |

+1 with dabbu.
The pleco can be one of the culprit. Also No ice please. temperature variations will be drastic and fast. so fishes will suffer more |
