I got these LEDs for my small planted tanks.
The one on the left is 10 watts, 220V.
waterproof and weather proof. Directly wire to a power outlet and fire away.
The one on the right is a 20 watt LED light.
Both are 6500 K.

Looks good.. Have seen these in many stores across Bangalore, and many people have recommended them on IAH. price seems to vary a lot for these.
Can I get price and source info from where you got them.. |

| I am considering getting a few LED Floodlight fittings for my tanks. What wattage is recommended for a tank 36" in length and for a tank 48" in length? Both tanks are 24" in height with 3-4 inches of substrate. |

What is the width of the tank?
You have to consider that too. |

The dimensions are (LxBxH):
Tank 1 - 48" x 24" x 24"
Tank 2 - 36" x 18" x 24"
Tank 3 - 36" x 18" x 18"
All the 3 tanks have 3-4 inches of substrate.
Thanks for the response. |

Swarnendu, I going to use the 20 watt LED on a tank 24 x 18 x 15
and the 10 Watt LED on a 12 x 10 x 12 inch tank.
Sumit,
For a 3 x 1.5 x 1.5 feet tank I guess 2 x 20 watt lights will do, and for a 4 x 2 x 2 feet it should be 3 x 30 watt.
I'll be fixing the lights in a couple of days, so I'll know the spread for sure.
I have a very bad feeling these could be too much light, for my tanks, as the LED burn brilliant bright when I tested them in air.
I have to check light penetration through water.
There will be a little DIY involved to mount them, but that should not be a problem. They are cost effective, for small tanks,
atleast for me. |

This is some thing really interesting Madan and thanks for sharing the link
Waiting for the updates... Planing for my 4X1.5X1.5 feet and 2X1.5X1 feet planted tank
One doubt here:
For my 4feet tank can I go for 3X20 watt and for 2feet tank 2X10watt? |

Thank you Madan for sharing the links, but the link of 30w leads to 20 watt. Did you see it in their web site? I searched the site but I could not get the 30w one?? |
