Guys who want to attend Aquatika 2012, and have not registered yet,
please do so before the last date for registrations: 15th June 2012.
There will be NO spot registrations at the venue on the 24th of June.
We don't want to turn away anyone, but there are a lot of constraints with a event like this,
and numbers have to be finalised in advance. Hope you all understand. |

Hi,
I am new here. I just regesterd on this website on May 12 and I am interested in participating in Aquatika 2012. Please tell me how to proceed.
I am from Bangalore and presently dont have an aquarium. I had one in my schooldays and looking forward to take up this hobby yet again.

We will be meeting at the Govt Aquarium Cubbon Park, Bangalore,
on 10th June 2012 between 11:00 Am and 1:00 PM.
You can meet a few members in person and also register for Aquatika 2012. |

12:30 - 1:30 PM - Lunch
1:30 - 3:00 - Aquascaping, Presentation and Live Demo - Seetharam Rai
3:00 - 3:30 - Tea / Coffee Break
3:30 - 4:15 - All about Collection Trips - Presented Jointly by Deepak Satyanarayana and Preetham
4:15 - 5:00 All about dosing + Low Tech Planted Aquarium
5:00 - 6:00 Fish and Plant Auction / Close down ! |

You can register at the ASK meet to be held tomorrow at 11.00am, Government Aquarium, Cubbon Park, Bangalore
Else, you can send the money to my Account # xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, in the name of M.Sadashiv.Nayak. Kindly SMS/E-mail(rasikanayak@hotmail.com) me once you are done with the transfer. Please do not transfer any funds after 1.00pm of Monday 18th of June 2012 without calling me on my Cell # (0) 9972534868.

Any idea how the auction works?. Do we (participants) bring stuff to be sold or Is it identified only? (or sponsors?) put item on sale? |

Not everyone gets stuff to be sold in the auction, or it will go on the whole day !
Few very rare items contributed by participants will be auctioned.
It is not a buy and sell event. There will not be more than 4-5 lots up for auction.
BTW the proceeds of the auction go to Aquatika ! |

What do you think we did ? They are travelling, already abroad or not coming to Aquatika !
There are more people we asked, but they are unwilling to talk or show pictures of their marine tanks !
Bangalore is a secretive place for marine as always ! |
