MOTHER NATURE HAS IT ALL... look around...
if you want oval or round edged rocks,,, a river bed... anything with sharp edges,,, a seasonal gully then. |

| you can find black rocks in river. Here i have seen black rocks on jog falls but the thing is it would be round or oval shape. Cream or white coloured rocks i think wont mix well with a black substrate like amazonia to make foreground. Or else try the cream rocks and just around the rocks use the amazonia and add the light coloured substrate in the remaining portion. So that when the foreground grow the black substrate gets covered and the only colour visible is green and white. I think you got what i meant. Can't type much since i am doing it on a phone. |

Brighter shades no matter how appealing, they tend to get dirt or algae grow on its surface.I have used some brighter shades, but they turned green, coated with dust over a period of time.
Preferably dark shades would be helpful for long term usage and low maintenance.
But, i don't have an answer to the former. |

As jabba said, we have these blackish to grey rocks found around Bangalore..
But sending them to Kolkata will be expensive.. if you are willing to get it shipped, I can help you out.
Will collect some , take a snap and post the images if you need.. |
