 Also  how  many  of  these  would  I  need  for  a  planted  10g  tank?

 Does  LED  create  ripple  effect  of  light  in  tank.  Ripple  effect  creates  good  visual  effect  and  tank  looks  more  natural  and  alive.

 Yes  the  LED's  does  give  a  ripple  effect  in  my  Tank  and  gives  more  natural  look  in  Tank.

 so  many  responses  asking  for  a  PM  for  the  price..  i  wonder  why  this  forum  does  not  allow  discussion  of  price  when  it  can  be  so  helpful  for  hobbyists  who  are  new  in  a  particular  area  (like  LED  here)..would  actually  help  people  from  getting  duped  if  they  had  a  better  idea  of  the  price..for  greater  good..
 
 on  one  hand  price  discussion  is  not  allowed  and  on  the  other  hand  the  forum  sports  a  buy  sell  index  and  links  to  buy  yata  yata  equipments..  Diabolical..

 Can  you  please  PM  me  the  cost  of  the  setup  and  detail  of  the  driver  used.
 Does  the  system  generate  lot  of  heat  ,altering  the  water  temperature?
 
 im  planning  to  transform  my  36*2Watt  PLL  setup  to  LED,  for  ergonomic  reasons.This  setup  is  well  encouraging   Smile

 I  heard  that  fluorescent  lights  are  harmful  for  eyes  and  skin  so  I'm  going  to  replace  them  with  SMD  LED  lights  .  do  you  know  about  this  new  technology  harms  for  eyes  and  skin?  is  it  harmful  at  all?
