I  think  schwagin  is  referring  to  Glass  Fish  and  not  Glass  Eels.

schwagin,  do  you  know  which  species  you  are  keeping???  Pictures  will  help  ID  them  and  people  who  have  kept  the  fish  will  be  able  to  help  you  out  better.  I  am  keeping    Parambassis  lala    presently  and  find  that  they  take  to  most  live  food  with  ease.  They  might  be  a  bit  delicate  initially  but  once  they  settle  in,  they  are  easy  fish  to  maintain.  A  few  species  are  also  known  scale  eaters,  so  its  better  if  you  get  them  ID'ed  soon.

Once  they  will  be  settle,  they  accept  all  types  of  food.  Give  them  some  time.  till  then  provide  live  food  along  with  flake  food.  Also  introduce  some  molly  or  other  hardy  fishes  in  the  aquarium.  Glass  fishes  will  eat  food  with  them.
