 Hi  Deep,

We  cannot  grow  Peat  Moss  in  the  aquarium  conditions.  The  same  is  applicable  to  Green  Algae  formed  on  the  damp  wall/  pots  (botanical  name  not  known  to  be  googled).  Both  will  decay/rot  if  you  use  it  as  aquarium  plant.   I  tried  long  back  and  failed.  Please  note  both  the  plants  are  terrestrial.

Even  I  have  tried  growing  them  immersed  and  failed.  Within  days,  the  entire  moss  turned  pitch  black  in  color!!!  May  be  we  will  have  to  slowly  accumulatize  it  to  the  aquarium.
