How do you manage them in a container outdoor ? Can you give some details like how big is the container ? How many fish are in there ? When do you do water change ? Do you let rain water go in ? Is the container covered constantly.
Thanks

@superbsite : well i made a container with spare plywood which i had and just had to buy a sheet (comes for Rs 150 - 300 max if good quality).
Here is a pic which i took when i was making this long ago. i use it to to keep my spare plants when clean tanks and also fishes temporarily the water is sort of unclean since i do not have any filter there , i clean it once ever 2-3 months , depending on the dirt.
Have good lilies growing there , mosses also grow good since it gets decent lighting.
i cover it with a board leaving only about 6 inches height so that light can enter it which is enough rays(since in terrace) for photosynthesis, when it rains , it gets filled with rain water and again the water evaporates with time , i just throw some fish food for the endlers, and mollies in there, also have 4 amano shrimps there and they have grown so big in just 2 months eating the algae on the mosses which grows there, when ever i have caught them they are always with a full stomatch.
evening time if i reach home early i take off the covering board and get a top view of whats inside,
but if i forget to keep this uncovered for 2 continous days then i will start having green algae.
Hope you can get an idea for this attachment
Thanks

Thanks for the idea Asif
I'm goin to experiment on my terrace
Hope the society allows me
One question what do you mean by "i cover it with a board leaving only about 6 inches height so that light can enter it"
Do you mean 6 inches gap at the top ?
And
Did you add any substrate here ?
Cheers

Hello all
I am from Hyderabad. I have one endler male. I need a couple of females. If any one having these females either for sale or want to give away i would be interested to take them. Because i have this endler with other fancy guppies, so i am afraid they will cross breed. I want to seperate them.
hope i will be lucky to get a pair
Regards
