We have to thank Vyas, Hayath, Preetham, Deepak and Seetharam,
who made this Aquatika one of the best.
Awesome presentations guys !
When I broached the topic of presentation with these guys asking them to
make it about 45 - 60 mins each, jaws dropped,
then to move things along I told them "Do it together, what's your problem ?"
Hayath and Vyas were comfortable with a 2 hour presentation, it actually went on longer !
Deepak demanded more than the 45 minutes I had allotted him. Preetham and Deepak too took longer.
Seetharam wanted more than the one hour given to him !
When people demand more time, they have thoroughly prepared and know what they are going to do !
I never argue with these fellows !
It's usually the other way around, presentations finish before time, then Beta and Me expand our talk to fill time !
This time we didn't need Beta and didn't have a single standby speaker too !
The post lunch film was done away with, and in stepped Seetharam and the live demo with all lights on !

This was one fantastic Aquatika. The pre- Aquatika dinner seems to be the best time for informal bonding and camaraderie with hobbyists. My humble observation, In future Aquatika’ s, If the budget does not permit a full blown pre- Aquatika Dinner, an informal gathering, in the previous evening for tea would be ideal for interaction among the hobbyists. During Aquatika, tea time and the breaks saw a lot of interaction among the crowd.
I need to really thank Madan for giving us an opportunity to host a session during Aquatika.
It was an honor sir, and I hope any gaffe had been pardoned.

First of all sorry for the delayed posting. The day after Aquatika I had to go out of the country – Italy for work and Dubai to meet friends and came back only yesterday. The first thing I did after coming back was to visit IAH website. I went through all the postings and pictures it was great and I consider myself very lucky to be part of IAH as well as Aquatika 2012. This is my first Aquatika and I am already looking forward to the next one. A great applause to the organising team – the whole event was very well organized, had substance, well documented and all the participants were well taken care off. It’s great to be part of IAH.
