 Hi  Guys,

i  was  out  on  a  trip  for  a  week  leaving  my  flowerhorn  pair  in  peace  and  they  seem  to  have  made  the  most  of  it.  They  were  clearing  the  site  to  lay  eggs  when  i  left  and  by  the  time  i  came  back  they  had  truckload  of  free  swimming  fries.   I  am  attaching  the  pics.  sorry  for  the  poor  quality  as  i  have  clicked  them  on  my  cell  phone.

Right  now  they  are  in  the  tank  4'x1'x2'.  will  drop  a  little  bit  of  boiled  egg  yolk  for  them  to  eat  today.  yesterday  was  finely  crushed  dry  shrimp.

Will  keep  updating  this  thread  with  their  growth  progress.

 Thanks

 Hi  Rahul,

 congrats!

You  can  also  crush  the  pellets  you  are  feeding  to  the  parents  and  feed  the  frys....crush  them  till  they  are  like  talcom  powder.....hikari  first  bite  is  also  accepted  by  them  easily.  these  would  be  easy  to  feed  and  creates  less  mess  in  the  tank  compared  to  egg  yolk.

almost  half  of  them  may  remain  stunted  or  better  called  as  "runt"...in  other  words  not  quality  ones.

 Cheers,
 Binesh
