 Hi  Prasant,

assuming  that  you  are  not  dosing  macro  and  micro.  this  is  significant  dosing  deficiency....quite  possibly  a  combination  of  both.

start  dosing  if  you  are  not.

 Thanks,
 Binesh

 Micro  deficiency  IMHO  perhaps.
Kindly  elaborate  your  tank  specs  alongwith  light  and  dosing.

It  is  hard  to  arrive  at  a  diagnosis  without  adequate  data.
 Provide  details  of  your  tank.

 Prasant,

Start  dosing  macro  and  micro  and  see  if  that  helps.  you  can  certainly  look  at  DIY  co2  if  you  can.

 thanks,
 Binesh

 Hi  Prasant,

40watts  lighting  for  your  13gallon  tank  is  good.
This  is  falling  in  the  high  light  category.
But  accordingly  you  have  to  meet  other  parameters  like  CO2  and  nutrients.
Search  for  "DIY  CO2"  and  you  will  get  to  know  about  sugar  and  yeast  method.
CO2  will  help  your  plants  grow  better.

Anyway  the  brown  patches  seen  in  your  leaves  are  due  to  nutrients  deficiency  only.

 Regards
 Sujo

In  case  you  want  a  low  tech  tank,  cut  down  on  your  lights.
If  not  start  co2  and  fertilizer  dosing.
Your  plants  are  starving  at  the  moment.

 As  alway  my  question  is-

Is  this  showing  on  a  new  leaf?  or  an  old  one?
If  its  issue  with  old  leaves,  yes  they  do  give  out  such  shades  before  they  die  off.

Moreover  the  2nd  picture  seems  to  be  emmersed  leaf  of  a  newly  bought  plant?  if  so  it  ll  be  acclimatizing.

EDIT-  the  tank  in  the  picture  doesnt  look  as  a  14gal.
