|

I am growing HC Cuba emersed in a small tray with potting soil topped with ADA AS Amazonia, covered by a plastic sheet.
I mist it once in 2 days. Have had it for over 3-4 weeks now.
The initial leaves all melted, but there is new growth at the tips. Very slow process...
I noticed today that there is some thin hair/web like growth between the soil and leaves at some places.
What might it be? What am I doing wrong?
Shouldn't emersed growth avoid all this? |

Ok, now I see the same web like thing on other plants as well - Lilaeopsis, DHG, Marsilea...
What is it, and should I be worried about it, considering that these plants will be submerged if/ when they root well and grow... |

| Would it be possible for you to post a picture of them so that it would be at least easy to identify the hair/web growth |

soil is moist or saturated with water. Normally this problem come due to poor water level in soil.
ensure leaves are above the water level.
pic would help |

| Buy the tablet grisefluvin from the pharmacy and mix a tab in 100 ml of water and spray on the entire surface. Repeat after two days. Another simple method is to get them back immersed and grow them back to emerged form after a month period. |

Here are some pics.
Also, in the second pic, there is another plant to the left that seems to be something else (not HC). Can anyone confirm what it is? |
