From the Betta Spawn I had. Unluckily or luckily only 1 survived. It is munching happily on micro worms and crushed tetrabits sharing its home with an apple snail and growing. It has now become around 4mm in length. Since I lost all the frys aswell as the momma Betta Iam trying my level best to get this one to be an adult. wish me luck
How much time does it take to grow. Seems its taking its own time and will take ages to become big.

don't never ever feed heavily .....the stomach size is smaller than his eye ...once fed heavily for 3-4days his stomach will burst open dear... give as much as he could take ...possible thrice day and with deepak..clean surface no left over should remain....and it's normal ...tht it will take quite a long time to grow after 15-20 days from birth to get semi adult ... it's natural u cannot do anything yaar .....

Deepak, I feed them with microworms grown on bread. How to clean them before feeding? I swap a brush over the top and dip it in the tank. Should I clean the worms before feeding? and if yes, how?
Thanks buddy. |

@vipin mw is difficult to clean. I was talking about tubifex. Feed them tube fex chopped when they are one inch of size.twice a day.also feed them dry food.
+1 with bishwanath don't Overfeed mw. But try some bbs. Because they are better food. And easy to clean. And fun to watch.
If u want to clean mw , them dip the cotton bud in clean water and wait till they sink. Then syphone them to another container and use use a dropper to take them out and feed them to the fries. |

i am sure if you feed them bbs after 10 days of mw. You will be able to save many more fries. That might be because of few reasons.
1) bbs is more nutritious. And it cleans up the digestion process.
2) nutrition comes from the egg Yolk which remains for only twentyfour hours. Then there is very less amount of protein in them to rot.
3) bbs is easy to clean because they get collected towards the light source. And mw is everywhere. So they pollute the water easily. |
