Now  for  some  honest  critique  !

To  diminish  the  effect  of  the  black  vertical  rockface,  I'd  have  planted  or  moved  the  bright  green  stem  plants  in  front  of  the  rocks,
and  pruned  them  to  the  right  height  so  that  all  looks  great  in  the  photograph  !  The  blacks  offset  by  the  green.

I'm  sure  when  you  stand  in  front  of  the  tank,  the  awesome  details  on  the  vertical  rock  face  is  very  pleasing,  but  that  simply  does  not  show  in  the  photograph,
and  PS  cannot  recover  it  (  No  light  no  picture  !)  unless  you  use  some  professional  lighting  to  bring  out  the  details.  When  you  have  constraints  work  around  them.

You  might  have  cracked  50  with  this  scape  properly  photographed  IMHO  !  and  more  fish  !!

 Hey  Sreeram  -

Thats  is  a  mindblowing  scape   Clapping  ...  and  while  it  didnt  make  it  to  the  top  200   Surprised  (which  i  am  sure  is  purely  because  of  the  photography)  a  lot  of  aquarists  would  kill  to  grow  a  scape  like  yours.
Sure  the  competition  makes  it  a  great  place  to  showcase  ...  But  truthfully  man  ...  I  believe  it  should  appeal  to  the  aquascaper  ...
Im  sure  you  worked  with  all  your  heart  dude  and  im  telling  you  man  Ive  seen  the  top  200  and  yours  is  much  better  than  a  lot  of  them!!!  Thumb Up
Theres  an  air  of  mystery  in  it.  Its  darkly  beautiful  if  you  get  what  I  mean.  No  wonder  you  call  it  the  dragon's  lair  -  Fantastic.

All  the  best  for  next  year  though   Thumb Up  ...

 Cheers  -  Darius

PS  -  hope  you  dont  rip  out  this  scape!  I  really  think  its  unique  and  beautiful  And  could  you  Please  PM  me  the  secret  ingredients  of  this  scape.  Im  really  inspired   Thumb Up

 Hello,

I  am  having  a  feeling  that  ,  this  tank  was  originally  intended  to  be  shown  in  low  light.
Madan  has  brought  out  the  real  pic.  I  like  it  better  with  low  light.  What  I  feel  went  wrong  is  that  the  tank  is  originally  a  high  light  tank  and  has  plants  that  will  do  well  in  good  light.  But  by  just  photographing  it  in  low  light  conditions  or  by  reversing  Madans  technique,  it  cannot  truly  reproduce  a  tank  that  is  a  born  low  light  tank  setup.

This  approach  has  gone  against  it.

In  bright  light  it  looks  like  a  stereotype  tank.  Nothing  stunning.  But  a  fantastic  effort.

I  say  it  again,  I  like  the  dimmer  setup  and  wish  it  had  the  right  plants  to  do  justice  to  it.  Everything  else  is  just  fine.

Wining  losing  doesn't  matter.  Tank  of  this  caliber  is  a  winner  for  me.  Keep  it  for  longer  time  if  you  can.  And  participate  again  next  time  with  proper  modification,  if  you  want  to  go  with  your  dim  look.

 Niranjan

 regards
