water  filled  bottles  will  be  kept  in  the  freezer  through  the  night  and  i  put  in  the  cooler  box  at  10am  to  reduce  the  temp..

It's  very  cheap  and  you  need  only  200/-  to  do  it..

Quite  nice,  how  many  hours  do  these  bottles  last?
If  you  add  salt  to  the  icewater  inside  bottles  it  ll  last  long.  Also  will  take  more  time  to  freeze.

It  will  consume  same  amount  of  electicity  as  chiller  Smile  but  initial  cost  wise  quite  nice  for  a  small  tank.  Thumb Up

@  Sanjay  -  Water  bottles  with  ice  (  refer  the  last  pic).  water  bottles  with  water  will  be  kept  in  the  freezer  throught  the  night  and  can  be  used  in  the  morning..

@  saikumar  -  The  ice  is  lasting  atleast  for  3  -  4  hours...i  have  not  tried  salt..will  try...we  may  also  with  other  liquids  like  sugar  solution,  soda  etc...so  that  the  ice  last  long..

sorry  to  sound  rude  but  this  is  not  a  cool  idea  and  neither  is  it  cost  effective.
freezing  the  water  through  night  will  only  increase  the  consumption  of  the  freezer,  we  think  that  the  freezer  is  anyways  kept  on  through  night  so  it  will  not  cost  us  anything  extra  is  not  meaningful  as  normal  temp  water  bottles  will  be  kept  which  will  make  the  compressor  in  the  bottle  work  hard  to  freeze  all  the  water....also  when  u  keep  them  to  cool  the  water  in  the  tank  there  is  loss  due  to  presence  of  heat  in  the  surroundings  no  matter  how  much  insulation  u  use.
i  suppose  that  the  cost  200  is  only  of  the  cooler  box,  u  are  missing  on  the  above  mentioned  heavy  cost.

use  of  ventilating  fans  is  an  effective  way  to  cool  the  temp  of  the  water  as  compared  to  above  method.
if  u  are  using  it  in  addition  to  fans  then  its  k.

water  changes  is  another  way  to  cool  the  water  changes.
one  more  way  to  cool  water  is  to  make  it  fall  in  your  tank  from  an  height  of  3  to  4  inches  combined  with  exhaust  fans....

and  i  wonder  how  everyone  earlier  felt  that  it  was  cost  effective

 @  prabhu
dnt  feel  bad.  my  intention  was  only  to  make  u  aware  of  the  fact  that  u  misconcluded
