 Hi!
You  have  mentioned  saltwater  fishtank,  but  I  can  see  Angel  Fishes  or  have  you  posted  the  wrong  link?  Please  mention  your  tank  specifications,  so  that  the  other  hobbyists  would  be  able  to  give  their  valuable  inputs.

 Regards
 Govindsj

 @  ganesh_6663,

Hey  you  have  a  freshwater  tank.  Please  update  your  post  title.  It  will  lead  to  giving  wrong  information.

And  you  have  a  white  sand  in  which  you  cannot  grow  plants.  Please  read  and  understand  what  all  you  need  to  have  to  grow  plants  in  an  aquarium.  Understand  the  difference  between  planted/saltwater  tank.

I  m  very  new  in  this  hobby(did  not  make  more  research  before  starting)......

When  fish  tank  come  my  home  shop  guy  told  me  to  add  four  tea  spoon  of  raw  salt  and  declorination  in  it.
Tank  size  is  --3  feet  long  ,  half  feet  height  and  half  feet  depth
one  inch  of  white  grain  size  of  sand.
Gave  me  1  top  filter  and  one  oxygen  machine.
I  kept  it  for  2  week.

Then  he  gave  me  four  angle  and  2  molly(are  dead  now).
He  doesnt  mention  it  is  saltwater  or  freshwater!!!
as  he  told  me  to  add  salt  ,that's  why  i  assume  it  is  salt
 water...

so  how  can  how  can  i  figure  out  it  is  saltwater  or  freshwater..??

It's  a  fresh  water  tank.  Stop  using  the  salt.
Salt  is  a  medicine  you  use  only  if  your  fishes  are  sick.

If  you  have  white  substrate,  you  can  grow  floating  plants  or  Moss  or  Ferns.  So  your  choice  is  limited.

Buddy  there  are  many  guys  who  are  members  from  IAH.  you  can  talk  to  them  meet  them.
Your  tank  specs  looks  like  its  made  for  keeping  Bettas  (siamese  fighter  fish)
We  all  will  be  glad  to  help  you  in  becoming  a  seasoned  aquarist.

IN  INDIA  ALL  LFS  ARE  CHEATERS  &  WANT  TO  MAKE  A  BUCK.  but  they  dont  realise  that  by  giving  good  info  and  time  to  customers,  they  will  get  that  customer  for  life.  anyways,  i  add  salt  to  my  cichlid  tank  evey  water  change.  it  keeps  diseases  away.  so  no  harm  in  adding  salt  unless  u  have  a  planted  tank  or  fishes  that  dont  tolerate  salt  like  silver  dollars  (its  bad  for  their  skin)  .  research  before  buying  anything.

Is  your  LFS  near  "Fine  arts  society"  .which  one  was  it?

get  in  touch  with  hobbyists  in  your  area  and  in  the  interim  read  about  cycling  your  tank.
if  your  tank  is  really  half  foot(6")  high  then  you  need  to  buy  a  new  tank.
 Dont  add  any  more  fish.
 Dont  feed  live  worms
Buy  a  good  quality  fish  food  like  Tetrabits.
Change  20-30%  water  every  week  without  fail.
drop  in  some  floating  plants  if  you  have  a  light  over  the  tank
