here  we  go  more  pictures  of  the  lights  assembly  steps

DONT  FORGET  THIS  STEP.  this  is  the  only  thing  that  will  ensure  your  lights  cannot  fall  into  the  water  if  the  rail  gets  shaken  or  you  din  do  the  other  fittings  [properly.

i  decided  to  water  proof  the  specific  set  of  screws  since  they  were  touching  the  tank  brace  and  am  sure  water  will  reach  there.

Why  the  small  dinining  table  in  the  tank  !!  It's  spoiling  the  whole  look  of  tank.

Though  I  don't  have  much  idea  about  Marine,  still  it's  looks  odd  to  me.  Any  reason  !!

What  is  meaning  of  SPS  please  !!

 Hi  abhis9
The  dining  table  so  to  speak  is  a  shelf.
Basically  an  elevated  platform  to  ensure  two  things
 1.  Ensure  water  can  reach  the  underside  of  the  live  rocks
We  want  water  to  circulate  the  underside  as  detritus  buildup  is  mostly  right  at  the  bottom.  If  the  circulation  flows  then  the  detritus  is  kept  in  suspension  so  the  slimmer  can  export  it.
 2.  When  you  place  live  rock  directly  on  the  bottom,  you  effectively  reduce  the  surface  area  of  the  sand  bed.  Using  a  DSB  or  deep  sand  bed  is  to  provide  a  natural  biological  filtration  and  you  want  as  much  area  as  possible.

Another  thing  is,  lot  of  fishes  are  expert  excavators.
When  they  move  the  sand  below  your  rocks,  the  structure  can  become  unstable.

 Hope  that  helps  Smile

Has  anyone  seen  this  strange  symbiosis  before?
My  peppermint  shrimp  are  pairing  up  with  my  BTA  anemone.
The  perculas  have  ignored  the  anemone  but  the  shrimps  are  living  in  the  same  small  cave.
They  are  not  attacking  the  anemone  or  vice  versa  as  both  parties  show  visibly  good  health.

Also,  the  cleaners  are  being  territorial.  Have  had  multiple  cleaners  before  even  in  a  20gall  but  never  this  issue.

 One  more  thing.
One  of  The  yellow  tangs  is  carefully  diving  inside  the  small  cave  of  the  anemone  and  getting  cleaned  by  the  peppermint  shrimps.

 Any  thoughts?
