The  connection  to  the  power  module  is  not  from  the  controller  board,
the  connection  is  from  the  controller  to  the  LED  PCBs,  that's  where  the  dimming  /  switching  takes  place.

ah!  that  prices  dropped  very  much,  I  think  aurdi  is  costing  800appx.
now  PCF8574  is  something  new  to  me  let  me  checkout,  I  thought  simple  cascading  was  just  fine.

I  think  someday  I  should  post  my  mini  too  Very Happy

hey  sai  i  think  arduino  uno  still  costs  around  1350  or  so...  there  are  so  many  indian  versions  of  that  available  at  lower  prices..  and  i  think  that  also  is  enough,  and  compatible.

As  madan  said,  the  entire  circuit  for  the  LEDs  is  on  the  LED  panel,  from  the  controller  only  control  wires  goto  the  panel.

I  already  have  the  circuits  pcb  on  this  post,  i  think  so.

I  don't  have  the  circuit  as  such  but  have  the  PCB  image  if  u  can  get  the  info  from  that.

The  basic  is  I  use  an  Ethernet  Cable  to  connect  the  controller  to  the  power
Module  instead  of  the  DB  cable  as  Before

The  inputs  from  the  controller  -  digital  outs,  are  given  directly  to  a  ULN2004  and  the  output  of  te  ULN  is  give  to  the  control  coil  of  the  relays  -  a  regular  relay  circuit  with  reverse  diode  tas  indicated  in  the  Arduino  forums.  You  can  check  that  out  for  more  details.

Will  see  if  I  can  add  an  image  of  the  PCB  shortly

Sushant,  you'll  not  get  the  code,  no  one  will  give  it  to  you,  you  need  to  develop  it  yourself  or  buy  the  coded  product  !

Maaaaaan!  these  gadgets  are  super  heavy  to  look,  so  much  to  just  not  use  our  good  old  "LIMBS"?

I'd  still  prefer  my  index  finger  to  switch  it  on  and  switch  it  off.

No  code  buys,  just  download  the  latest  Aurdino  gcc,  and  you  ll  get  all  your  sketches.  Its  hell  of  a  big  forum  for  that  card  size  equipment  and  you  should  get  all  your  help  there.

If  ever  you  had  arranged  your  friend  list  in  orkut/fb,  this  sketch  manipulations  would  be  as  simple.  Hardware  you  now  anyway  know.

Still,  I  think  PK  did  share  it  somewhere,  cant  be  sure.

It  depends  on  the  load  that  you  are  planning  to  connect.  Every  relay  has  a  rating  on  the  max  load  that  you  can  connect  to  the  relay.  Hence  it  would  be  difficult  to  tell  whether  the  above  relay  board  would  work  for  your  situation.

If  you  are  planning  to  connect  only  a  power  head,  filter  etc,  then  the  above  relay  board  would  be  fine.  But  if  you  are  planning  to  connect  a  chiller,  heater,  you  will  have  to  go  for  a  higher  rating  relay  board.

Imran  these  relays  can  take  upto  6  A  each.
If  you  connect  to  220  V  AC,  that  is  1320  watts  per  relay  resistive  load.
So  you  can  easily  do  500  watts  or  so.  But  be  careful,  these  realys  are  notorious
for  bad  quality.  They  will  simply  get  stuck  in  the  ON  position.  I  have  used  them  and  regretted  it.
