hi, due to lack of regular water changes , i'm thinking of shifting from frozen BH mix to frozen Artemia , i have discus fishes from 1 inch to 7 inches ,
guys please guide me is artemia as good as bh mix and can i use it as a staple food for my fishes .

Hi Hasheem,
to start with, if you are having a problem regarding regular WC for your discus then I would suggest stick to dry food such as hikari bio gold or tetra bits and feed them artemia or bhm only before you are doing a wc. Both bhm and artemia have small particles that remain uneaten and ruin the water quality.
Also as you mentioned you have many fish with varied size. I would suggest to keep similar size discus in one tank to promote healthy and fast growth as the bigger ones will keep bullying the smaller also they secrete a hormone that acts as growth inhibitor for the smaller ones.
