Finally purchased everything.
Today I started mixing them, having a fever is not helping.
Anyway I have powdered every chemical seperately in a spice grinder, then mixed with Fe gluconate, grind it again.
Mixed everything togather, sifted the powder through a mesh, ground the coarse particles.
I think it needs to be sifted and ground some more.

@ Ganesaa,
Trace elements are the mix of the following chemicals:
Manganese
Copper
Zinc
Boron
Molybdenum
Cobalt
Rubidium
Nickel
Vanadium
All the above are mixed to the required composition and then dosed in the tank according the dosing regime that you follow (PMDD, EI, All-in-one etc).
The reason that you dont find the DIY micro is that, because its not easy to do the micro mix.
1. You need to have the whole lots of chemicals mentioned above.
2. The right % mix of each chemicals required to make the composition.
3. Very accurate weighing machine able to weigh minimum .000gm (Usually used in the jewellery shop) |

Use the first five and don't bother with the last four. Your tap / borewell water will do what the last 4 will do. |

You are completely wrong in understanding how the chemicals have to be mixed for make the stock solution. Please read from the first post in this topic to understand how to make the micro stock solution.
The micro mix would have a certain % of each chemicals. You can understand it by reading the first few posts in this thread. Hence to attain that % of chemical, each chemical have to mixed in water to get to that %.
Sandeep have mentioned it in his posts. |

As I am using Fe gluconate which has a higher % than DTPA, the weights will change somewhat
Chemical---------------------------Weight(gms)---------
Fe Gluconate ----------------------13.50
Magnesium Sulphate------------04.10
Manganese Sulphate------------01.80
Borax----------------------------------0.15
Zinc Sulphate-----------------------0.35
Copper Sulphate------------------0.10
Molibidic acid----------------------- 0.03
(Edited to revise quantities: sandeep)

Let me know if it is still not clear. |

Arre sandeep these guys wake up in the morning, click on the small red link for the last post on the thread while still rubbing their eyes and scratching their behinds,
and start posting whatever they fancy without reading anything in the thread.
Sometimes it is better to be curt and ignore the post.
Everyone has a responsibility, the newbie especially to first read then ask questions. |

Madan
How did you powder and mix these powders, I have used a hand masala grinder and the results are not very good.
When I am sieving them with a fine mesh, there are still some course particles. |

I simply added them to water and they all dissolved. Nothing more.
All of them are soluble in water.
I don't know about the Fe Gluconate solubility, check that, you might have to dissolve it in a solvent then add to water. |

OK, so this means that you mixed enough only for one batch?
There is no problem in dissolving Fe gluconate in water, I have been using it for some months now. |
