 Hi...
 
 I  am  planning  to  buy  Discuss  (Siz  1  inch).  i  am  having  44.82  Gallon  tank  (L=  4ft/  W=1ft/  D=1.5ft).  i  also  did  this  last  month  but  unfortunately  i  had  lost  all  20  pic.  of  Discuss  due  to  gill  flukes.
 
 My  Qus  is  :  will  External  filter  help  me  for  better  filtrations  instead  of  normal  Sponge  as  daily  water  change  is  not  possible  for  me?  &  how  do  i  avoid  the  infection  like  gill  flukes  &  Dropsy?
 
 Pls  suggest  external  filters  too

 Your  tank  size  is  good  for  discus  .  If  you  want  to  raise  1  inch  discus  you  have  to  feed  them  well  and  to  do  good  WC  .  External  filter  may  help  you  to  some  extent  but  regular  WC  will  help  these  small  discus  to  grow  fast  
 
 How  do  you  come  to  know  that  all  your  discus  died  due  to  gill  flukes  and  what  treatment  you  carried  out  to  save  them  ?  
 
 Always  try  to  get  your  discus  from  good  source  ,  you  will  get  healthy  discus  .
 
 Getting  sick  discus  is  waste  of  money  and  time  .
