Wanted to share few of my works so here goes :)
Scape names -
1) "The Cuuube"
2) "End Point"
3) "The Rock"
4) "Bowl-gumi" - immersed setup |

Hey Zicokaka update you locason(Location) good work, fantastic, teach me also that girlfriend tank is still at your girlfriend's place? can I visit you girlfriend (juz kiddin)

well yes you can I believe.. but yeah buy a ticket to Manipal, karnataka she stays there - she is working as a doctor there.. |

It's actually fairly simple - get a tray kindof bowl from any decor shop along with the buddha - make sure it's of stone make, arrange hardscape as per liking an' wolla..your ready.. plants used here are xmas moss as the ground cover, micro tenellus an' M. hirsuta. Will be adding a bit of DHG at the back perhaps today. yeah soil used is controsoil 4mm topped with 2mm. that's all, i use a mister to spray water from my existing tanks so ferts too are supplied along with that, hope this helps. |

well my girl was always amazed everytime she saw my tanks so, thought why not a gift which even she can adore..everyone ends up giving soft toys/chocolates..it ain't a harm to be different.. |

End point is the most beautiful. If you could somehow age the buddha statue, it will look more natural. Maybe rub it with a sand paper a little and then apply a layer of cement and water. The cement colour will make it look more natural. Its awesome as it is, this is just a suggestion of what I thought.  |

Please share the specs of the tanks and how did you manage to get the orange background that make the scape stand out.

Plants:Vesicularia montagnei, Sagittaria subulata, Pygmy Amazon, Taxiphyllum barbieri, Rotala Wallichii Red, Myaca Fluviantilis, Potamogeton Gayi, Riccia Fontanus, Ludwegia Repens,Myriophyllum Tuberculatum, Blyxa Japonica
Fish: Celestial Pearl Danio - (1 female 1 male), Poecilia Reticulata - (1 female)+ few fries, Otocinclus Macrospilus - 2, Red Cherry shrimp - 6, Indian Cardina (shrimp) sp. - 4
Background: None, only a small 15W orange colored night lamp has been used to give the effect with the top light being kept at an angle to the wall which is yellow in color
Lighting:2*15W PLL (6500K)
Filtration:Resun Mini canister filter
Additional
Information:Stock DIY macro/micro nutrient solution 1ml per day on an alternating basis. Seachem Flourish 3ml+Seachem Trace 3ml once a week on every water change
2) "End Point"
size - 18''*10''*12''
Substrate: Ocean free Absolute plant base+Root stick+ controsoil 2mm
Hardscape - Locally roadside collected red laterite rock
Light - 40W PLL (with reflector)
Filter: Easy Aqua EX-500
Flora: HC, DHG, Glosso, HM, E. Tenellus, H. Tripartita.
BG: normal fish carrying plastic attached via cello-tape to give the translucent look+14W cool white T5 placed at the bottom and yellow colored hand tissue towel placed over it, to get the orange glow on the sides two tissues were added.
Fauna - 3 oto, 5 harlequin rasbora |
