both  these  guys  will  not  entertainer  retail  buyers.
try  to  understand   guys  these  wholesale  guys  discourage  retail  hobbyist  due  to  objection  from  LFS.
for  information  on  all  those  guys  praising  Nautilus, they  have  separate  price  for  LFS  and  hobbyist  for  the  dry  goods.
WS  market  is  good  for  checking  variety  of  live  stock

So  Today  I  visited  Nehru  Nagar,Kurla  around  8PM  &  honestly  what  I  experienced  was  completely  REVERSE  of  what  other  Members  experienced.

Reasons  can  be  plenty  as  there  wasn't  any  rush  or  most  shopkeepers  are  in  mood  to  shut  down  shop  or  MY  APPEARANCE   Thumb Up

 Shops  I  visited-
 Shark  Point
 Lake  Land
 Ocean  Wonder
 Aqua  Plant
 Fish  Universe

 Gesture-
At  all  shops  I  was  warmly  welcomed.  I  simply  told  them  that  I'm  beginner  &  want  to  start  right  from  Tank.  From  quoting  tank  to  fishes  &  other  accessories  everything  was  explained  &  made  clear  to  me.

Yeah....not  to  mention  didn't  get  taste  of  their  ATTITUDE.  Every  body  was  calm  &  simple  &  no  one  refused  to  deal  in  retail  though  they  suggest  for  a  dozen.

 Pricing-
Well  I  got  diff.  quotes  for  30/15/15  tank  +  Metal  cover
Shark  Point-  450/-  for  tank  +  350/-  Metal  cover
Others  quoted  750/-  for  tank  +  same  rate  for  metal  cover

Upon  asking  why  there's  diff.  they  said  the  Cheapo  guy  must  be  giving  .5MM  ka  glass,  let  me  cross  check  with  him  tomorrow.

 Air  Pump-  Rs.150/-
 Sponge  filter-  Rs.200/-(bigger  one)
Internal  filter-  rs.350/-(i  got  SOBO  650ltr/hr  i  hope  its  more  than  enough)
 12"  Plastic  Plants  5  pieces-  Rs.120/-
 Ciphon  cleaner-  Rs.100/-

 Tetras  except  rasabora-  rs.380/-  dozen
 Guppies-  rs.240/-  dozen
 Bettas-  rs.100/-  imported  ones

There's  some  confusion  for  me  when  they  pointed  -CHICLATE  FISH.....is  it  same  as  tetras?  because  for  BETTA  everyone  calling  fighter  fish.

 Dislikes-
 Area....eeeeeeee!!!
During  my  visit  Water  changing  work  was  going  on  so  it  was  wet  rasta  everywhere.
The  way  most  shopkeepers  keep  BETTA  in  15cm  x  15cm  Glass  Box...ridiculous...why  the  hail  such  brutal  treatment??
Common  expl.-  its  fighter  fish  can't  shoal  with  others....huh!!

Even  worst  at  one  shop  where  Two  BETTAs  were  dead,  after  pointing  out  Shopkeeper  throw  them  in  such  a  way-it  reminded  me  Balloons  we  throw  during  HOLI.
So  a  quest.  remains  for  me  do  we  get  healthy  fishes?

 Summary-
Overall  I  rate  satisfactory  visit.   Very Happy

You  wont  get  healthy  fish  in  kurla  or  any  other  lfs.  That's  why  we  quarantine  them  first.  And  we  judge  a  healthy  fish  by  its  movement  vibrant  colour  snd  balanced  swimming  pattern.  We  also  check  if  I  has  any  deformation  or  wound.

Such  scoundrels  these  Kurla  guys!!  Using  betta  fishes  instead  of  balloons  for  holi  festival.  Is  this  any  way  to  celebrate  such  a  holy  festival?  Next  they'll  be  using  chiclate  fish  and  trangeline's  and  Shivram's.  I  hope  they  dont  use  shubhangi  powder  as  Gulal.  eeeee!!

Area...eeeeee   -  Dont  you  think  these  Kurla  shops  should  at  least  provide  gum  boots  to  their  customers??  Such  cheapo  guys!
