Sbd  happens  due  to  bad  water  and  overfeeding.  Try  feeding  him  blached  pea.

swimming  bladder  disorder  ....  try  feeding  green  peas  if  he  is  taking  any  food.  let  experts  comment  on  treatment  but  i  would  advice  to  maintain  good  water  quality  to  prevent  secondary  infections  .

 Lovely  specimen!
Reduce  the  water  level  to  a  height  just  sufficient  for  the  fish  to  stay  upright  and  maintain  pristine  water  quality.Epsom  salt  (Magnesium  sulphate)  at  1-2  tsp/10  gallons  of  water  can  be  added.Keep  the  lights  off  and  wait  for  the  experts'  opinion  for  a  probable  gram  negative  antibiotic  addition.
Just  out  of  curiosity,  do  you  soak  the  pellets  before  feeding  it  to  the  fish?

 Thanks  aquarius.
Yes,  i  soak  the  pellets  for  about  2-3  minutes  before  feeding.  i  am  curious  to  know  how  would  that  matter  as  I  don't  soak  pellets  for  2  other  flower  horns..they  are  small  and  I  use  smaller  pellets.
Epsom  salt   -  Where  do  you  get  this  ?  I  usually  use  Aquarium  salt.

All  dry  fish  foods  swell  after  soaking-especially  the  Grand  Sumos  and  Humpy  heads.A  soaking  time  of  10  minutes  can  almost  double  up  the  pellet  size.
Greedy  fishes  like  the  flowerhorns  will  gobble  up  as  much  food  as  their  tummy  can  hold  at  that  moment. If  unsoaked   pellets  are  fed  they  expand  inside  the  stomach  and  can  cause  constipation.Food  gets  stuck  up  and  rots,  giving  birth  to  bacteria. The  gases  that  develop  can  cause  swimming  disorders  which  can  be  relieved  by  using  Epsom. It  is  very  different  from  your  aquarium  salt  and  is  basically  a  laxative  for  your  fishes.
Before  jumping  into  the  antibiotic  path,  it  would  be  wise  to  clear  its  GI  tract  first.  Epsom(also  called  Magsulph)  is  available  at  most  drug  stores.

 That's  for  tomorrow.
As  for  today,  do  not  forget  to  reduce  the  water  level  to  lessen  the  stress  on  your  fish  and  comfort  its  swim  bladder.

When  did  you  change  water  recently?  Honestly......
before  you  notice  this?  This  will  help  us  understand.  It  might  be  low  oxygen  or  amonia  spike  too..

What  is  your  water  change  schedule  ?  This  may  be  because  of  water  .
