 hi  all,

 my  tank.

 size:  24  x  18  x  16
 Light:  84  watts  T5.
 Soil:  Ada  amazonia,  River  sand.
 Filter:  Eheim  2213

 plants:
 1.  Bolbitis  Heudelotti
 2.  Java  fern  mini
 3.  Fissidens  Fontanus,  Willow  moss,  weeping  moss
 4.  Japanese  hairgrass
 5.  Cyperus  Helferi  (currently  one  of  my  Fav  plant)
 6.  one  Pogostemon  Helferi.

 Fish:
planning  to  add  30  Harlequin  Rasboras  after  1  month.

had  a  bolbitis  tank  earlier,  took  it  off  to  grow  some  stems  and  had  some  great  success  with  few  stem  plants.  But  again  maintenance  was  quite  high  so  got  rid  of  it.  Shifted  back  to  Bolbitis  Heudelotti  again  as  i  like  this  fern  the  most.  just  waiting  for  the  fern  and  hairgrass  and  Cyperus  Helferi  to  grow.  Might  take  2-3  months  to  see  some  change.  Last  time  bobitis  growth  was  amazing  but  at  that  time  i  had  lots  of  them  to  start  with.

thanks,  will  update  pictures  as  and  when  the  tank  progresses.  Suggestions  welcome.

 @  muddassar

I  would've  shifted  the  CO2  diffuser  just  below  the  lilly  outlet  pipe,  add  java  ferns  to  the  2  Nude  driftwood  Tips  on  the  top  (left  hand  side)  and  leave  it  just  as  it  is  for  the  rest!

 Cheers!

Another  very  nice,  natural  looking  layout.  Was  the  unevenness  of  the  sand  intentional?

Hi  Umesh.  i've  already  asked  for  the  java  fern  narrow  leaf  from  Vyas.  was  unable  to  pick  this  weekend.  i  also  had  the  same  plan  but  i  am  looking  for  narrow  leaf  mini  on  the  driftwood  on  the  right  as  the  narrow  leaf  java  fern  large  leaf  will  clutter  the  tank.  i  want  to  avoid  that.  also.  i  will  be  putting  the  fissidens  moss  on  few  of  the  driftwoods  on  the  top.  The  CO2  diffuser  will  also  be  chnaged  to  a  more  clearer  glass  diffuser.  will  do  it  by  end  of  this  month  and  after  that  the  location  of  the  diffuser  will  be  changed.

yep.that's  the  plan  after  i  get  a  glass  diffuser.  i  will  even  shift  to  a  much  clearer  pipe  for  the  diffuser.  the  purpose  is  to  avoid/minimize  distraction  by  the  hardwares  used  in  the  tank.

Yep,  i  had  made  the  sand  uneven  on  purpose.  the  even  sand  was  giving  a  very  tame  look.

thanks.  i  am  too  happy  with  the  Cyperus  helferi  plant.  earlier  the  choices  for  the  same  type  of  plants  were  Vallisneria  which  was  too  much  of  nonsense  plant  to  handle.  cyperus  is  slow  and  looks  great.

 Nice  Arrangement,
If  CO2  was  there  a  nice  carpet  in  front  would  have  looked  great...

 Hi  Sudheer,

didn't  get  the  comment.  CO2  is  already  there.  And  i  don't  plan  anything  on  the  front  as  the  front  is  for  the  sand.  the  right  hand  back  side  will  have  a  carpet  of  hairgrass  and  that  would  be  it.  HC/glosso  type  of  carpet  will  not  suit  this  scape  at  all.  i  have  had  enough  scape  with  front  carpets  so  i  went  for  this  look  and  basically  at  the  same  time  looking  for  low  maintenance.
