is co2 setup must??
|
Hey, who said that.. CO2 is not a must, especially with your kind of setup. keep it simple, just get some more plants.
By the way, You have not mentioned about your lighting.. tell us about your wattage and kind of lights used..
|
Err! sorry am not sure of the specs of it.. its a philips 2ft tubelight tat i have fixed on the canopy.. |

A 2 foot tube light's max rating would be 20 watts, and you are using only one..?
Then forget about growing plants, friend..
Your tank needs at least 5 more of them, 100 watts of lights is the minimum requirement for your tank size.. Minimum..
your plants are already on death bed.. |

alsan : I haven't tried glossostigma. I read it grows tall with less light and more compact with intense light.
Like Nidhi mentioned, you need to provide details about your lighting.
Co2 is not essential. But it does make a difference to plant growth. |

For a 3 feeter, T5H0 lights will be ideal.
Aquazonic is one cheap fixture available. You may need 4 light fixture. Each 39 watts.
This comes by default with 12000 K rating. Since plants need 6500-8000 K rating, using the default lights may cause algae. |

other upgrades on my tank are..
amazonia soil.. DIY co2.. and more importantly the lighting now is 36X3 PLL..
Plan to have just dwarf grass and a banyan tree king of driftwood at the left corner that would have christmas moss on the top of it as canopy.. |

DRDHEEP: It is time that you start recogonising a Igwami setup.
Alsan: it is not a igwami set up but it is very nice.
Good that you are starting it over but dont add fish for a month..... |

Jabba,
Right you are. This is the problem today in IAH.
Without knowing the subject people start comment.
Also you can see another thread today is "My RCS Tank!!". And author Lugia_111
also demanding that it is his 1st planted tank.
I have to know now which or what is planted tank!! |
