 Hi  Friends

When  searching  for  saving  some  electricity  found  this  web  page

 .

we  could  replace  electricity  and  growing  carpet  or  any  other  high  light  requirement  plants  in

 Peace
  Smile

After  considering  the  requirement  for  the  installation  of  such  a  unit  at  homes  it  looks  like  a  lot  of  plumbing  work  will  be  required.  we  will  even  need  to  a  fix  a  location  for  a  planted  tank  well  planned  before  installation  within  the  light  equipment's  reach  .

For  any  one  in  this  hobby  constructing  a  home  might  want  to  think  about  this   Chuckle

Hope  there  is  a  DIY  method  to  get  this  done  cheap  Smile  .

If  any  one  has  been  using  such  lighting  please  do  post  your  experience  .

 That's  very  interesting!
Although,  it  gives  light  only  during  the  day.  I  wonder  how  it  will  work  out  for  non-sunny  days.  I  wouldn't  bother  about  that  in  Chennai!   Chuckle   But  other  cold  places?  Also,  would  be  cumbersome  if  someone  wanted  light  after  daylight  hours.

Also,  did  you  try  googling  the  cost?!?!  It  says  these  systems  start  at  $10000!   Surprised   Surprised   Surprised   That's  about  Rs.  5L!!!   Surprised  and  that  is  only  starters.
Even  if  someone  tried  a  DIY  and  ended  up  with  half  that  amount,  it  is  still  quite  a  large  sum.

But  I'm  sure  it  will  come  to  be  in  the  future.

IMO  for  the  present,  solar  powered  lighting  is  quite  a  viable  option.
