I  used  the  dung  which  is  6  month+  old  dried  and  slightly  washed  it  b4  mixing
let  me  see  what  happens  in  this  tank
here  I  have  3  more  3  feet  tank  in  the  same   shelf  f.   they  are  also  under  work  in  progress

That  sounds  promising.....  The  major  villan  in  cow  dung  as  per  me  is  the  urine  in  it.
So  when  you  dry  it  for  the  period  you  said  and  with  the  washing  I  think  the  urine  part  will  be  taken  care  of.
Now  I  think  I  understand  why  this  is  followed  in  our  farm.  My  dad  used  to  say  that  the  fresh  dung  will  create  lot  of  heat  and  will  destroy  the  plant.  Also  after  this  process  the  cow  dung  retains  the  nutrients  for  longer  time.  Man  I  need  to  listen  to  my  dad  more  carefully  now

Need  to  try  this  way.....  BTW  I  have  a  question.
 1.  You  just  washed  the  surface  of  the  dried  dung  OR  you  powdered  it  and  then  sunk  in  water  and  drained  it?
2  Did  you  take  only  the  dung  or  the  mixture  of  dung  with  Hay  and  leafs(Which  is  usually  the  output  in  the  dairy)?

If  it  works  in  a  tank  it  would  be  nice......  These  things  are  doable  for  me  as  well,  at  my  farm  in  Sagar.
But  will  have  to  wait  for  a  vacation.
