I just got a pair of clarkii clownfishes for my marine tank and they have been there for about 3 days now and doing good and are properly aclimated.
I have been trying to feed them raw boiled shrimp pieces and marine flakes.
But most of it end up in the bottom although later they seem to eat it after I leave from their sight (seems they are still not familliar with me ).
I'd like to know what you people feed your clowns and how often. currently I'm only feeding them 2 times a day.

If the tank params are good, normally clowns are the first to pick the food. The probable reasons could be:
1. Sick fish
2. Getting bullied by others
3. Tank params not good(ammonia, nitrite high)
4. You staring at them a lot which probably looks like the case.
5. Not used to the new environment and so gradually adjusting....
6. Acclimation not done properly.
7. salinity different from what they are used to(wide difference)
They would probably adjust to your tank in a weeks time.
Finally clowns find it difficult to bite off the shrimps from the big chunk. What I do is mash them up in a mixer along with brocolli, spinach and garlic- freeze them and then break small pieces off the frozen stuff and put in tank. The clowns just love it.

The Tank parameters are fine with Ammonia and Nitrite both at 0ppm and Nitrate at about 3ppm. Acclimation was done using drip method and there wasn't much difference in the water parameters from the LFS. 4 and 5 seem to be the possible cases.
Hope they adjust soon and start eating well. I have ordered for Ocean nutrition Formula 2 100gm pellets. It would really be difficult to feed them home made food daily as I'm off to work most of the time from home.
