 Hi  kuna,
it's  been  such  a  long  time  away  from  iah,  missed  you  all.
 the  tank  is  a  18  inch  x  12  inch  x  10  inch  custom  made  4  mm  rimless,
Sparsely  planted  with  anubia  and  moss,  lots  of  rocks  and  driftwood,  no  ADA  aquasoil,  but  a  mix  of  ADA  la  plata  and  Congo  sand.
Temperature  is  kept  within  23-26  degrees  by  cooling  fans  and  air  conditioner,  I  find  smaller  tanks  to  be  easier  to  cool  down  in  the  Kolkata  humidity.
I  have  not  tested  the  water  recently  but  using  my  usual  source  of  tube  well  water,  it  is  hard  in  terms  of  kH  and  little  above  7  in  terms  of  pH,  I  do  not  have  a  tds  meter,  but  expect  the  count  to  be  high.
tank  mates  are  other  shrimps  of  caridina  genus.

This  is  my  second  try  with  this  species.  I  was  not  able  to  keep  them  alive  for  more  than  a  month  the  last  time,  this  time  will  be  my  last  try.

I  have  got  caridina  "blue"  babaulti  and  yellow  cherry  shrimps  with  them.  Just  got  them,  so  not  breeding  yet  but  some  were  already  berried  with  eggs  when  I  got  them,  still  carrying.

and  the  green  form,  in  the  last  picture  you  can  clearly  see  the  difference  between  the  green  and  the  red  of  the  same  species

Seems  they  are  red  when  stressed.  Mine  were  red  when  I  recieved  them.  Later  they  changed  to  yellow  green.
