 Hi  All,
Nandu  received  the  parcel  on  6  th  day  of  shipment.  shipped  from  Quilon(Kollam)  kerala  to  Vishakhapattanam.

 Packing  method.
I  used  Johnson&Johnsons  Buds  container  for  shipping  the  starter  culture  .(I  used  this  container  becasue  it  is  not  an  air  tight   one  Thumb Up  )

Poured  some  starter  culture  in  the  container.
Then  i  Just  dipped  two  Bread  piece  in  milk  and  put  into  the  buds  container  which  contains  the  starter  culture.
(I  used  this  bread  piece  becasue  it  will  create  a  paste  form  and  it  will  not  leake  easily  from  the  container. Also  it  will  be  the  food  for  the  cultures  inside  the  container  while  shipping  Thumb Up  ).
Then  I  just  put  the  container  in  a  polythine  cover(the  one  we  used  for  shipment  of  live  fishes)  and  covered  two  three  times  and  just  used  a  little  plaster(white  tape)  to  fix  it  well.  but  i  ensured  that  i  had  not  fixed   the  whole   open  area  of  the  polythene  cover.then  I  just  packed  it  in  a   cardboard  bax  and  covered  with  plaster  and  made  some  tiny  holes  in  It.  Then  .....To  the  DTDC     ...........  Thumb Up

 Hi
 Thaks  Ratheesh!!
The  culture  is  alive  ,kicking  and  multiplying  !!

Now  cultures  can  be  sent  to  any  place  in  India  with  out  worrying  about  the  survival  of  the  culture.

 Thanks  again

 Nandu

 Dear  All,

I  got  my  starter  culture  from  Neil  and  I  have  continued  the  tradition  of  sharing  it..  I  know  Neil  has  shared  it  to  many  ppl  in  Kerala  and  any  hobbyist  who  is  active  in  forums  or  Facebook  now  knows  where  to  get  the  cultures  for  free..  I  my  self  called  this  number  to  know  who  is  this  guy.  He  seems  to  have  got  from  numerous  person's  we  have  shared.  I  do  not  see  a  way  to  stop  him  from  selling  the  culture..  Only  thing  we  can  do  is  we  can  post  an  add  mentioning  its  will  be  shared  free  of  cost..  so  any  one  searching  for  cultures  will  see  both  add's...

We  should  do  everything  to  name  and  shame  this  black  sheep...
