Filters:  Cannisters:  Aqueil  and  Sunsun  1600.  May  add  another  later
 Decor:  Only  rocks...mostly  Banjo  rocks
Flora:  HC  carpet  in  the  foreground,  red  plants  in  the  mid  and  background
Lights:  Either  4X55  T5  HO  or  may  be  MH.

 Will  start  with  DSM

As  I  go  along  with  this  journal,  this  is  how  I  will  document  my  thought  process......

I  am  currently  misting  it  2/3  times  a  day.  The  tank  beig  covered  with  Cleanwrap,  retains  99%  humidity  inside.  Is  it  too  high?

One  question  Bappa.  How  are  you  planning  to  beat  up  Noida  summer?  It  will  be  helpful  for  me  to  decide  if  I  could  go  the  planted  way  here.  I  am  skeptical  and  waiting  for  this  summer  as  I  have  moved  from  Bangalore!

You  can  use  one  of  those  fountain  misters  in  a  dish  of  water  to  keep  the  humidity  up.  Unless  you  wiped  the  glass  for  the  photos  yours  looks  a  bit  low.

Dry  starts  in  India  are  susceptible  to  fungus  so  you  can  add  a  little  bit  of  flourish  excel  tou  your  spray  water  to  help  prevent  this

NCR  summer  is  terrible  but  often  they  can  be  managed  well:
 Some  necessary  steps  are:
 1.  Place  the  tank  in  a  portion  of  your  room  which  is   cooler.  Irrespective  of  the  temperature  outside,  most  of  us,  using  AC  and/or  desert  coolers  (very  common  in  NCR)  keep  room  temperature  to  sub  30  degrees  always.  therefore,  the  tank  temperature  should  utomatically  not  exceed  27-28  most  of  the  time.
 2.  Invest  in  low  cost  fan  sets.  Unbelevably,  it  will  keep  your  tank  temperature  to  23-24  from  (March-July)  and  then  (September-October).  This  is  because,  given  the  low  humidity,  these  fans  evaporate  a  lot  of  water  and  keeps  the  water  unbelievably  low
 3.  The  only  problem  months  are  (mid  July-mid  September),  those  two  months,  do  bit  of  a  frequent  water  change  and  pray  that  it  rans  very  frequently

By  the  way,  NCR  is  receiving  fair  bit  of  rainfall  for  the  last  few  years.

Thanks.  With  clean  wrap  I  manage  to  keep  the  humidity  at  99%?  I  was  always  worried  about  too  much  humidity.  Should  I  be?  Flourish  Excel  is  a  idea  let  me  toy  with.  Thanks
