Any one willing to explore water streams/river near NH8 Highway? Saw some beautiful water streams when i was travelling.
Location: From Thane 'Express in' to Manor Max 130KMs (NH8) 1 day collection trip possible.  |

Lets go but not on the first weekend of Feb. because we have our Mumbai Aquarists Meet (MAM) at 5 Gardens Matunga (E) on Sunday 3:30pm, 2nd Feb 2014.
We can decide and plan for the next weekend. Sunday will be preferred for most. |

| Yep - Sunday 9th Feb Confirmed. This Friday we will get to know who all are finally in. While all of us will coordinate, we will need one meeting point after Dahisar, where all can gather from where we will all proceed. |

MAM Fishin Trip
Points to follow
1. Safety first. No entering any water body without checking the depth
2. Observe the waters, fish and plants.
3. Carry some light snacks and drinking water.
4. Carry basic medication. Bandaids. Tablets. Take your medication in the morning if you are on prescriptions.
5. Bring your own nets, plastic bags, rubber bands, containers/boxes to carry stuff back. Bring whatever you have because the car is there.
6. Wear a cap as the sun is hot. Those who get sunburned carry your SPF.
I usually wear track pants and kitos cos they are light and dry fast if you get wet. Carry a towel too.
7. Dont dirty the place. Keep a separate garbage bag for it. We can throw the garbage when we reach home.
Keep the environment clean. We want to come back to these places.
8. Please be on time. Keep everything ready previous night.
9. Communicate all the above to the others when you talk to them.
10. Above all enjoy yourself. |
