 Hi  All,

My  Jewel  fish  has  spawned  and  it  converted  into  fry's,  the  fry's  may  1  or  2  days  old.

The  tank  mates  are  convicts  and  bala  shark,  these  jewel  fish  have  been  taken  the  convicts  to  the  core  and  shark  never  even  turn  to  Jewel  territory.

What  I  have  to  do  next  to  keep  the  fry  safe.

 Kindly  help  me  out.

I  tried  to  attach  the  pic  but  I  can't  also  help  me  to  attach  the  pic

Jude,  If  the  parents  are  taking  care  of  the  fry,  don't  touch  them.  If  fry  are  free  swimming  feed  them  Daphnia  or  newly  hatched  brine  shrimp  for  quick  growth  and  better  immunity.  Keep  water  clean  doing  regular  partial  wc  after  feedings.  Feed  the  fry  3-4  times  a  day  siphoning  after  each  feeding.  You  may  also  employ  an  apple  snail  to  clean  any  in  eaten  food.
Keep  us  posted,  all  the  best  and  enjoy  the  magnificent  spawning  behavior  of  cichlids   Thumb Up
