 Hi,

Where  can  i  get  live  blood  worms  in  bangalore?  I  just  want  to  feed
my  guppies/tetras  with  some  live  feed,  thats  the  objective  here.

I  checked  with  a  farm  in  Kakinada,  they  said  they  are  exporters
and  asked  me  if  i  need  1  ton!!   ROFL

I  told  him  i  need  1kg  ,  he  laughed  and  told  me  that  he  will  send
info  to  my  email  id.  But  minimum  he  wants  me  to  order  5  kg.

1kg  is  18k  cost  +  transport  cost.  Also  he  said  he  will  send  by
train  and  will  give  me  the  number  so  that  i  will  have  to  pick
 from  railway  station.

If  any  of  you  are  interested  we  can  jointly  give  an  order
at  a  lesser  rate  and  let  bangalore  enjoy  some  live  feed
from  time  to  time.  Please  pass  the  message  and  comment
 on  this  idea.

Also  if  you  know  of  any  other  cheaper  or  nearer  source
you  can  share.  We  can  buy  in  bulk  on  lesser  rate  and  share  it.

 Pass  your  thoughts.

 Regards
 Venkat

 Hi
Suppose  I  buy  one  kg  of  live  worms,  what  is  the  means  of  preserving  it,  other  than  deep  freeze,   if  I  want  to  use  it  over  a  period  of  month.
Can  we  keep  them  alive  for  how  long  in  natural  way?

I  remember  my  cousin  in  Kolkata  changing  water  2  -  3  times  a  day  and  maintain  the  worms  for  at-least  a  week  time.
But  now  he  is  into  alternative  feeding  methods  as  it's  too  much  of  effort.

 Regards,
 Robin

Live  worms  are  good  but  be  careful  that  you  don't  feed  your  fish  bacteria  with  it  ....once  I  killed  all  my  angels  feeding  them  "not  so  fresh  "  worms  from  the  market.......
