Good  try,  I  would  have  preferred  a  little  less  of  the  wood  and  more  of  plants..
Maintenance  will  be  an  issue,  as  there  are  lots  of  crevices.  lot  of  debris  can  accumulate  in  those  places  which  could  promote  algae..
 Best  of  luck..

 Hi  Nidhi,
Agree  on  above  counts,  -  however  actually  there  is  enough  swimming  space  left  as  the  tank  is  quite  deep  and  high,  60cm  each,  -  which  is  not  apparent  in  the  picture.  And  i  am  keeping  only  really  small  fishes  so  that  they  have  enough  swimming  space.
And  hoping  to  keep  algae  at  bay,  -  the  flow  is  being  kept  quite  good.  The  rock-driftwood  work  is  actually  quite  porous  with  a  lot  of  small  rock/wood  pieces  making  up  the  base  through  which  water  is  flowing  freely,  -  hoping  to  give  a  lot  of  surface  for  bacteria  colonies.  A  little  bit  of  ADA  aquasoil  at  the  front  is  more  cosmetic  than  anything  else.  Fish  load  is  low  for  the  water  volume,  -  so  may  be  that  would  help.  And  the  gobies  and  snails  are  supposed  to  help  too!  Let  us  see  Smile  .  .  .

 Dear  Agni,
I  am  sure  this  would  mature  into  a  fantastic  scape.  The  anubias-moss-fern  combo  for  a  low-medium  light  tank  is  an  excellent  choice.

To  nitpick,  some  of  your  wood  pieces  end  abruptly.  It  would  be  better  to  take  care  of  them  by  mossing  /  anubiasing  them  up.  Also,  there  is  too  much  happening  in  the  tank  at  this  moment.  You  can  try  to  transition  the  fury  on  the  left  into  something  less  chaotic  on  the  right.  I  hope  that  made  sense.

But  only  time  will  tell  how  this  will  shape  up.  I  don't  have  the  eyes  to  imagine  a  matured  scape.

Another  point  would  be  the  total  photo-period.  I  am  always  afraid  to  turn  on  lights  for  too  long  for  fear  of  inducing  algae.  I  would  keep  it  as  short  as  4-5  hours  at  the  beginning.  But  do  take  your  experience  and  the  behavior  of  the  tank  into  account.

 Best  of  luck.

 Thanks,
 Arin

Bro,  if  i  am  not  mistaken,  the  goby  is  a  brakish  water  fish..May  not  live  long  in  freshwater..Check  once  more  to  be  sure...And  with  your  list  of  plants,  you  dont  need  a  co2  mate..All  your  plants  will  grow  just  fine  without  co2  Smile

 Arin,
Thanks  mate  for  the  encouragement.  Totally  agree  on  abrupt  ends,  -  actually  the  woods  had  wonderful  sharp  ends,  but  my  'helper'  thought  they  were  'dangerous',  -  and  by  the  time  i  discovered  the  matter,  damage  had  been  severely  done   Crying or Very sad  Anyway  picked  myself  up  and  went  on  to  complete  the  scape.  Will  closely  monitor  moss  growth  and  do  needful.
Am  watching  out  for  algae  with  a  hawk's  eye,  -  and  will  reduce/adjust  everything  -  intensity,  photoperiod,  dosing,  etc  immediately  (little  bit  of  green  dust  today).  Tank  was  on  a  4  hr  photoperiod  for  first  02  weeks.  Shrimps  introduced  today.
Forgot  to  mention  earlier  -  30%  water  change  weekly.

 Hi  Hrishii,
There  are  some  freshwater  algae  eating  gobies,  -  like  my  Stiphodon  sp.
Already  kept  some  other  freshwater  gobies  for  about  2  years  which  were  caught  from  a  pure  freshwater  stream  at  Great  Nicobar  Island.

Great  Start  Agni.  Good  to  see  a  hobbyist  from  Andaman  here.  I  had  visited  in  November  and  was  on  the  lookout  for  LFS  there,  especially  for  marine  fish.  I  was  told  that  there  is  one  at  Jungli  Ghat  in  Port  Blair  but  couldnt  find  it

Thanks  Mortis,  but  actually  i  m  not  truly  from  these  islands,  -  i  m  posted  here  now,  and  will  be  for  the  next  few  years.  There  are  only  02  LFSs  here,  -  the  common  platy-goldfish  type.  No  marine  shops,  -  locals  dont  'keep'  marine  fish,  we  all  'eat'  anthias  and  groupers  here!
Fabulous  coral  reefs  though,  especially  at  Nicobar  (i  am  a  certified  diver   Smile  ),  and  a  lot  of  reef  fish.  Can  post  reef  diving  pics  sometime.
