It's fine. Don't worry. Until it's a clear glass, nothing to worry. Make sure it's tightly holding the moisture insude, although little "leakage" is perfectly fine.

Started a new emersed setup with a 1.5' Dia tub. Same garden soil as the previous setups used as substrate. Plants are:
Hygrophilia Pinnatifida, Hygrophila Quadrivalvis, Dwarf Saggitaria, Staurogyne Porto Voelho, Bacopa Monnieri, Echinodorous Marble Queen, Echinodorous Rubin (added today, not in the pic), Rotala Walichi (wild collected by a good friend), a Wild Crypt Spiralis and an Oak Fern. Let's see how this matures.
Covered this time with a glass slab:

Yeah.. That plant has no ID yet. Roots look like a fern, so I am assuming it is one. |

This morning: Once the plant has rooted/adjusted well, the growth is phenomenal.
Harvested some cuttings, let us see how it does in my low tech B-)

So, got my hands on a lovely little plant I was madly after. My good friend, Navneeth arranged it for me. The Hemigraphis Repanda
Here's an update to the tub I added it to:
Hygrophillia Pinnatifida and Quadrivalvis growing alongside each other:
The flower from a tree, not the plants growing in there.
Cheers,
Karthik |

Hey Karthik all the plants In my pot have transformed to emersed form now.. But they are long and my pot is small so they are reaching the plastic sheet that i cover them with.. My question is that now that they are in the emersed form.. Can I just keep the pot open? The plants are Ludwigia palustris, l repens, dwarf hairgrass and dwarf sag |

I would suggest if they're stem plants, cut it and plant it back. Don't leave it uncovered. It might dry out soon. |
