I recently bought a Sunsun 304b and a Sunsun 303b from Happyaqua.in, and would like to post my experience. The shipment came in after about a week, which was fairly fast, given the size of the shipment. But that was where the good things ended.
- The shipment cost was increased by about five times.
- I had to pay Octroi, which was about the same as the shipment cost, and was not intimated by the seller.
- UV lamp was broken on one of the filters. The seller has requested me to pay for the replacement UV lamp.
- I had ordered Seachem Purigen, which was replaced by Seachem Matrix.
The saving grace was that both filters started without a glitch, and are performing well.
in conclusion, Indian online sellers have yet to stand up for their mistakes. |

Dear immu,
Prices were definitely higher compared to ebay and snapdeal.
But I went ahead with since they are aquarists.
Thanks,

Appreciate your intentions, hope the aquarist who run such sites take a note and give better and transparent services then ebay, etc.
I have always bought stuff from eBay an never had issues. |

That's good to hear.
After this experience, I would prefer to buy from local dealers.
Despite the extra charges, at least you get an item that is undamaged, and can refuse to buy if it is damaged.
Thanks,

the plus point of online shopping is that we can compare various products, just need to find a reliable dealer. |

I know.
It is definitely lucrative - the idea of getting deep discounts.
But that is definitely contingent upon finding a reliable seller.
Thanks for your inputs,
