Hi team from Mumbai,
I am looking to setup a 1.5ft stank for scarlet badis only. Can I get some help in terms of Fish? The LFS has only male ones or can bring only if i am ready to take a minimum 2 dozens. So either I take them and if anyone interested can collect from me, else if someone has 2 males n few females so that I can purchase from them.
Also some pointers to substrate n decorations will be appreciated.
I really cannot make it tanks as place constrains.
Please help as I am posting from Mumbai and since I was traveling for last 8 months.
Thanks |

Check out Uttekar Fisheries in Borivali. Check out Nautilus at Bandra.
They may have what you want. Don't ever fall for the bulk buying scam. |

Thanks guys..Kurla I will check as it is near to my place. Can you give me any landmark to this shop? I am still not so well versed in Mumbai areas.
On other hand I called Nautilus but no one picked. I will try again.
Please do let me know if you see them in any LFS..
On the 2nd part, any idea about decoration? Any hobbyists selling any extra product? Plants? Sand?tank?
Let me know as I can pick it and keep the tank ready, cycled n running. |

I had got them from joe's aqua world a few months back. Got both male and females. They have a nice personality. You can also add bumblebee gobis, since both of them need live food, are about the same size, and won't fight.
Check with joe when he's getting them again. |

They unfortunately died. i came to know of the live food terms & condition after i purchased them. Don't have a reliable source of live food in borivali area to my knowledge. They were fine for a few months, lived on the microorganisms. But perished eventually (along with bumblebee gobis).
My plan now is to first establish a 50+ population of red cherry shrimp in my tank first, and then introduce these guys.
Here's what my scape was around when i had them...
