looks  like  you  have  planted  the  fern  in  substrate.
Remove  it  and  tie  it  to  wood/stone  -  Google  on  how  to  plant  ferns  and  anubias  in  aquarium.

 Good  beginning.
None  of  these  plants  need  too  much  light  and  in  fact  these  turn  brown  with  direct  and  longer  times  of  light.  Can  start  with  6-8  hours  of  light  and  reduce  if  algae  appears.

Nice  start..For  the  plants  which  you  currently  have,  none  of  them  require  co2  or  a  nutrient  rich  substrate  like  amazonia  to  grow.  Anubias,  ferns  and  mosses  thrive  by  taking  in  nutrients  from  the  water  column.  They  should  be  attached  to  rocks  or  driftwoods  and  not  planted  in  the  substrate.  Hairgrass  however  requires  a  good  supply  of  co2  to  form  a  carpet.
 Best  of  luck  Smile

IME,  your  moss  taking  a  hit  might  be  due  to  higher  temperatures.  This  is  expected  during  summers.  Whats  the  temperature  in  your  tank  by  the  way?  Most  mosses  seem  to  like  it  around  24-26.

I  think  its  better  yo  either  use  some  CPU  fans  to  bring  down  your  tank  temperatures  or  take  out  your  moss,  place  it  in  a  bowl  of  tank  water  somewhere  cooler.  Else,  they  will  continue  to  melt  and  might  affect  your  water  parameters.  I  have  read  people  keeping  away  moss  in  refrigerators  during  summer,  but  haven't  tried  this  personally.  So  you  might  want  to  try  at  your  own  risk   Smile
