 Hi,
I  see  my  newly  planted  tank  becoming  dull  day  by  day.  Have  planted  Montecarlo   and  some  cryptocoryne  axelrodi  in  it.
It  is  a  1  feet  cube  and  i  have  only  some  shrimps  in  it.

since  last  10  days  i  noticed  brown  algae  is  forming  all  over  the  plant  leaves   and  it  is  spreading  all  over  my  tank.  I  do  water  change  everyday  about  10%.  and  weekly  50%

Also  i  see  some  bugs  kind  of  white  insects  swimming  around  in  the  tank

 Need  expert  advice  on  this.

If  this  is  a  new  setup,  could  be  diatoms,  add  a  couple  of  Otocinclus  which  will  consume  it  and  take  care  of  algae.  The  white  insects  could  be  seed  shrimp,  cant  see  any  in  the  images,  so  i  am  just  guessing.  Any  small  fish  will  eat  them.

 Thank  you  for  the  advice.

It  is  a  2  month  old  setup,  this  came  all  of  sudden,  even  on  the  aquarium  glass.  I  tried  in  all  the  nearby  aqua  shops  for  Otocinclus,  but  no  luck.

I  will  try  to  add  some  fish  as  per  your  advice.

 They  are  planeria.
 1.  Control  the  feeding  schedule.
 2.  Make  a  planeria  trap  and  caught  them.

I  do  water  change  every  day  by  10-15%  and  weekly  50%.  This  is  continuing  from  the  day  of  setup.

Will  it  be  a  problem  for  the  fishes  if  i  do  water  change  in  large  quantity?

I  also  reduce  my  lighting  hours  to  3  hours   after  i  see  this,  assumes  that  it  is  because  of  excess  lighting.

This  is  how  it  was  before,  Clean  and  Green

 Hi  Preejith,
Good  that  you  have  the  filter  in  place  now,  Filtration  systems  is  very  important,  Hope  the  filter  chosen  is  in  proportion  to  the  aquarium,  if  the  water  flow  current  is  in  excess  it  may  harm  the  plants,  this  forum  has  plenty  of  threads  on  Filtration  Equipment,  reading  them  has  refined  my  know  how  on  filtration,  hope  it  helps  you  too.
 Warm  Regards

To  keep  fishes  less  stressed,  change  only  few  amount  of  water  weekly  or  biweekly.  The  one  of  the  reason  of  diatoms  is  lower  plant  density.  The  fertilizers  in  water  forms  algae  unless  they  are  consumed  by  plants  so  try  to  increase  plant  density.
Add  few  ottos  or  algae  eater  fishes.  Use  both  ferts  &  lights  within  reasonable  limits.

 Update  your  location,

It  seems  to  me  like  the  "new  tank  syndrome".

What  substrate  is  that?   where  is  the  co2?  Do  you  de-chlorinate  the  water?  Did  your  Tank  have  a  dull  moonish  water  anytime?

while  starting  a  planted  tank,  the  soil  and  plants  need  to  co-relate  themselves.  After  the  plants  settle  comfortably,  you  will  see  the  tank  come  alive.

Every  new  Planted  tank  looks  beautiful  on  its  first  day  Chuckle

So  my  advise  is  ........firstly  Install  co2.

While  changing  water  de-chlorinate  it  properly  or  best  would  be,  add  old  water.

use  a   small  lovely  good  old  bubbling  sponge  filter  for  developing  a  good  bacteria  cycle-  remove  the  mechanical  filter  its  realy  not  required  in  your  tank.

if  possible  increase  the  gap  between  the  water  surface  and  the  lights.

Your  lights  seem  close  to  the  tank.

The  things  should  get  back  to  normal,  except  that  you  will  surely  loose  a  few  monte  carlo.

 good  luck...god  bless  Cheering

   Clapping   Cheer
