After much pleading got permission to keep a Nano in bedroom
My intention is to keep rescaping the tank in different styles every few months and i'll post pics whenever the tank becomes presentable.
Capacity: 14 Litres
Age: 45 Days
Substrate: Fluval Stratum
Light: 12W DIY Led with 3D printed mounts
CO2: Pressurized with ceramic diffuser
Filtration: External Canister
Plants: S.Repens, H. Pinnatifida, H. Tripartita, Monte Carlo, Vesicularia ferriei, Anubias Nana, H. micranthemoides
Fish: Otocinclus, Paskai Rainbow.
It was quite difficult to maintain water quality in such a small tank, so 2 days back I have removed the above tank and done a rescape on a 12" Cube.
Also a short review on Fluval Stratum, it does not give an ammonium spike like amazonia initially, plant growth has been good. However i cannot comment whether it'll keep its granular shape in longterm. Also worth mentioning that i have not done any daily water changes as amazonia requires for the first few weeks...
