I have or plan to do the following:
Good sturdy stand made of 1" MS Angles, 30 x 12 x 18 tank, HOB (Aquaclear 70) filter, 10 W T5 LED + 2 x 9 W LED, Potting Mix with a top layer of Sand and Gravel, A few Drift Wood, Rocks. I have almost frozen above and ordered most.. you may suggest if you feel i am risking something. I'd get all deliveries by next weekend
So, next step is plant and fish and food and fertilizer etc. Please suggest initial plant load for the tank which you all have said in forum should be maximum to eat everything and leave nothing for algae.
1. Kindly suggest a set i.e. number of each or some of following for the tank and setup
Vallisneria Americana (natans)
Cryptocoryne Wedndti - Green
Cryptocoryne Undulatus - Red
Baby Tears or Pearlweed (rotala)

I think this is going to turn out great. Have you considered mineralizing the soil? It solves the algae problem to certain extent. Do not choose gravel for capping. Use 2-3 mm of sand only. Buy things from local store instead of online, it's much cheaper. Moss requires much lower temp. All other plants are hardy and fine. Do consider duckweed and hornwort during initial phase. Cover 75 per cent of you tank. Skip anubias. Post pics.
