Guys  i  have  finally  managed  to  have  success  in  breeding  my  panda  corydoras.  Even  noticed  a  fry  or  2  in  the  moss  while  i  pulled  approx  5-6  eggs.  Any  suggestions  on  feeding  the  fry  post  hatch?  I  dont  have  access  to  microworms  at  the  moment.  Will  hikari  first  bites  suit  well?  Kindly  help  out.

Great  work  Blesson87!!  Once  the  eggs  hatch,  you  can  go  for  brine  shrimp  or  powdered  pellets  (a  good  brand)  in  the  absence  of  micro  worms.  Just  ensure  you  are  able  to  do  water  changes  as  frequently  as  possible  (daiily  is  great).

Will  keep  updating  as  things  progress.  The  first  batch  turned  out  to  be  mostly  infertile  except  for  the  one  that  hatched  out  today.  Out  of  the  new  egga  i  pulled  most  seem  to  be  fertile.  Keeping  my  fingers  crossed.  The  solo  fry  is  still  feeding  off  of  his/her  yolk  sac  so  still  got  2  more  day  till  i  have  start  feeding  him.  I  am  doing  10%  water  change  on  the  whole  tank  and  the  eggs  and  fry  are  in  a  makeshift  container  floating  in  the  main  tank.  Dont  want  to  shock  the  fry  too  much.

Thanks  mate.  I  am  doing  daily  water  changes.  And  have  ordered  hikari  first  bites  which  i  will  get  tomorrow  and  will  start  once  the  fry  is  actively  seeking  out  food.

Well  the  fry  seems  to  be  developing  rapidly.  And  found  another  one  hatched  today.  Removed  the  2  baby  cherry  shrimp  as  i  was  not  sure  if  they  will  harm  them  plus  they  pollute  the  water  too  much.  Almost  all  the  infertile  eggs  turned  out  to  be  fertile,  just  that  they  were  slow  to  develop.  So  almost  7-8  eggs  in  advanced  stages  of  development  probably  will  hatch  out  today.  Couple  shots  of  they  2  fry.  The  older  one  as  you  see  is  so  much  more  developed.

One  embarassing  mistake  :  the  reddish  eggs  i  thought  were  pygmy  cory  eggs  turned  out  to  be  dropped  cherry  shrimp  eggs.  My  bad.

Well  after  a  lot  of  worry  most  of  the  eggs  hatched  as  i  pulled  them  out  to  discard  them  thinking  they  were  dead.  They  actually  hatched  into  the  specimen  cup  i  was  thinking  of  destroying  them  in!   Surprised
Added  bonus  pulled  out  5  more  freshly  laid  eggs.  As  of  now  i  have  6  frys  and  3  developed  eggs  about  to  hatch  and  5  more  new  eggs   Cheering
