I have been fascinated with Tiger barbs since I was a kid.
Always buy a pair or two and have all the other fishes get harassed.
Never really worked with Tiger barbs in my early days of fish keeping.
Recently got back into the hobby and setup a 20G tank with some minimal plants - low tech setup.
And for the fishes, was looking at what to stock and then suddenly decided on a tiger barbs species only tank.
Right now there are 14 nos of juvenile regular tiger barbs which are settling.
I am loving this setup since they are starting to shoal well and the pecking order is also pretty well defined.
Planning to add other varieties of tiger barbs, but now sure where to source them in Bangalore.

I think 20G tank is a bit small for a school of tiger barbs.. since you already have 14 nos, don't add any more.
They will grow out of the tank in no time..
I would suggest a 50G with good canister filter and lots of wood work to enable the weak barbs to get relief from the harassing dominant barbs.
