Hi there, first question :-)
So I have a 40x13x18 inch tank, the idea is to be planted and checking what will grow and what won't.
I bought SunSun ADE 900c LED lights which says 60W on it (there is no lumen rating or PAR values available on net). I am not sure if this is enough. Here is what I found, the rotala rotundifolia hi red seems to be growing (needle leaves with red tint started developing in about 3 weeks). The substrate I must say is pretty inert (like about 5 years old). Have Co2, 1 bubble per sec.
Is this fixture any good ? Also, is there a cheat sheet which is straight forward for the off-the shelf light fixtures ?

Appreciate your time Saikumar. I guess this is the best for now unless we start custom building. I am planning on a 4 feet tank as well, with ads 1050c lights. I hope I get it to carpet at least with hair grass. Will update.

You're welcome. Bad thing about custom builds is the high costs, warranty and looks.
1050 should be good, people recommend ADS over ADE for better intensity. It surely must be more than sufficient to grow majority of plants in our hobby.
Do share some pics when you get a chance of your 40" tank.
