 I  am  planning  to  set  up  a  planted  tank.  size  =  4  feet  *  1.5  feet  *   2  feet  depth  ,  with  co2  &  EI  fertilization.

I  can  see  this  light  available  in  all  online  shops.

1050c  is  listed  as  suitable  model  for  4  feet  tank.

However  they  have  not  specified  anything  about  Lumens  it  produces  anywhere.

How  is  the  effect  on  carpet  plants  ?
Can  this  light  help  in  growing  red  plants  as  well  ?

I  thought  it  will  be  best  to  take  fellow  hobbyist's  opinion  before  placing  an  order.

 Thanks
 Santhosh

 Hi  Santosh,

In  my  opinion  ADS  series  of  Sunsun  light  is  a  brilliant  low  budget  light.  Here's  a  tank  I  had  made  with  the  900C  light.  Tank  size  is  48in  x18in  x24in.
Tank  has  mostly  low  tech  plants  and  used  to  receive  ample  amount  of  ambient  light  also  in  the  morning.  So  I  used  900c  instead  of  1050.
