I am Rescaping my planted aquarium. i had bought SUN SUN ADS500C. I am unable to fit the same on my tank as the my tank edges are having width of 1.8cm and Bracket of the ADS500C is 1.2cm. Can you anyone let me know what is best way to fit this?

I have 2 ideas:
1. If too much of finishing is not required then a quick way to fix this would be to take a this PVC pipe and cut-out 1.8cm sideways and sticking the existing mounting legs on the pvc using an adhesive like araldite or hot-glue.
2. If you require good finish then buy some acrylic sheets, cut and stick them to make a custom mounting leg then fix the light using the new legs.
