I need to paint some rocks & stones in my aquarium. I am fine with black paint or just a clear coat.
Could anyone suggest what kind of paint I can use for this purpose which is safe and not harmful to fishes?
I have a few types in mind like enamel (the kind used to paint metal gates and stuff), 2 part clear epoxy resin (the kind used to create resin pour art) however I am not sure if they are safe for fishes in the long-term or would continue to leach chemicals even after it has cured.
I am OK to let the painted items soak underwater even for a month just to ensure any initial leaching is take care of, but in the long-term it should be safe for the fishes.
