 Friends  !
Can  I  keep  tetras  with  angles,  I  am  not  sure  but  I  think  they   will  not  like  each  other,  as  angles  are  calm  and  tetras  are  bullying  type,  please  share  your  experiences  if  ever  tried..............
 Regards

I  have  seen  planted  setups  with  angels  and  neon  tetras  ...  so  may  be  they  are  compatable

And  the  angels  grow  much  bigger  than  the  tetras.  So  they  will  not  be  bothered  by  the  tetras.

Angels  have  long  flowing  fins,  they  will  not  be  comfortable  with  fish  that  nip  fins,  I  have  had  problems  even  with  molly  &  swordtail  nipping  angels.
BTW  the  aliganj  shop  has  recently  got  a  lot  offancy   livebearers.

 Joy,

What  tetras  are  you  planning  to  keep  with  the  Angels?  Could  you  be  specific??

Angels  and  Tetras  could  go  together......

Certain  tetras  like  RETs  are  fin  nippers...  so  avoid  them.....

Back  to  Tetras,  keep  them  in  schools......  they  like  to  be  in  schools..........

IMO,  you  can  try  neons,   black  neons  (would  look  great  in  a  planted  tank),   lemons,   glowlites,   phantoms  and  even  pencils.......

 Welcome  to  Tetra  world  Smile

iam  sorry  but  i  disagree  with  all  of  you.
Rather  than  worrying  about  the  tetras  bullying  your  angels  its  the  other  way  round  your  angels  will  make  life  miserable  for  all  your  tetras  if  not  selected  properly.
The  few  tetras  that  would  be  and  will  infact  look  great  with  angels  are  emperor  tetra, cardinals, rummy  nose, lemon. You  could  also  try  large  corydorus  catfish  if  you  intend  putting  adult  angels.
 Hamza
ps-Gokul  neons  have  to  be  probably  the  worse  choice  for  an  angel  tank.Simply  because  angels  stalk  and  eat  neons...even  if  your  forget  the  fact  that  neons  are  cool  water  fish  and  angels  are  tropicals.

 You  will  be  surprised!
Angels  belong  to  the  cichlid  family  -  they  can  get  territorial  when  they  pair  out  and  can  make  life  miserable  even  for  fish  bigger  than  it's  size.
Yes  I  have  seen  angels  getting  really  nasty!
